Yeya Chávez
As a photographer and director, Yeya has created visuals for brands including Town & Country Magazine, ELLE UK, ELLE USA, Harvard University, and Fiat.
Yeya is a Los Angeles-based still-life photographer, content creator, and artist, born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico. With a background in film production and portrait photography, she has spent years capturing the essence of entrepreneurs, artists, and brands through striking visuals.
Her career spans from working on blockbuster films to indie gems, serving as Stella Nolasco's personal photographer at New York Fashion Week (featured in Vogue México), and collaborating behind the scenes on films like Driven and with the acclaimed theater group Teatro Breve. As co-founder of Como Imágenes, alongside artist Ricardo J. Santana, she explored music videos and artistic commercial work, sparking her passion for video directing.
Now a full-time still-life photographer and content creator, Yeya has shifted her focus to artful product photography, blending her cinematic eye with a deep appreciation for composition and storytelling. Her work has been featured in ELLE Magazine, Town & Country Magazine, and she has collaborated with brands and celebrities like Keeley Hawes and Dafne Keen.
Through her still-life photography, Yeya reimagines everyday objects, turning them into captivating works of art. Whether crafting intimate brand visuals or conceptual still-life series, she brings a distinctive blend of creativity, spontaneity, and storytelling to every frame.
